The Arts

At Sussex School, the arts are an integral part of a student’s learning experience. We encourage students to explore the creative process, practice critical thinking, and employ courage in three main disciplines: the visual arts, music, and drama.

 

In all grades, students have opportunities to sing and play instruments, participate in art shows, and act in and produce plays. While much of the curriculum is centered around process and growth, Sussex students also perform and present during the academic year, including art walks and competitions, full theatrical productions, and polished musical performances. Whenever possible, the arts are integrated into other disciplines for a rich educational experience, part of the best education in Missoula, Montana.
